Wow, at long last, an update!
Feb. 21st, 2003 03:50 pmWell, here I am. And damned if I'm not HAPPY! Would you believe it? The haus frau shtick really and truly works for me....I've lost 15 lbs. since I quit, finished Morgan's baby blanket, birth sampler, and a x stitch picture Carl bought me (as well as started three new cross stitch projects, and quilting Rhiannon's twin size quilt)....I'm accomplishing things! Wow.
The kids seem happy too. Rhiannon is adjusting well, and the babies (other than occasional out breaks of cabin fever) would appear to be well satisfied with their lot in life. Hurrah!
Koren moved in with us over Christmas break, and that's been really great too. I love having her here, and so do the kids.
On the Avon front...I am beginning to kick butt and take names. I'm less than $600 away from Pres. Club, and I'm getting new customers right and left (finally started canvassing....it works, who knew?) My Campaign 5 is gonna rock. It won't be especially bigger than other campaigns, but it *will* be mostly OTHER people ordering! Every customer, save one, is new. Also, Margot hired me to be her District Administrative Assistant (which sounds far more important than it really is). I was overwhelmed at first, and I decided that I must've been nuts to take it on....but as the post-Christmas hullaballoo settles down, and I settle into a routine, I'm starting to enjoy it more.
So....I'm keeping the house clean (-ish)... (-er)..., taking good care of the babies (haven't locked 'em in the closet once!), losing weight, and making my Avon business really work.
So, if I have the incredibly petty desire to send Amy a photograph of me posing with my Mrs. Albee...that wouldn't make me a shallow person, would it?
