Ozy and Millie Titles and Mild Updates

Life is pretty interesting these days. On the "big" front, Koren is now working full time (yay for her!) with a real live honest to goodness grown up with bennies and everything job. On one hand, I'm delighted and proud, on the other hand I'm an eensy bit jealous. I don't even want to go back to work. I'm a trifle conflicted. Meanwhile, homeschooling is going fairly well. Rhiannon and I don't fight as much as we used to, and she's picking up math like gangbusters. (Carl sent her some problems from work and she said "hey, is this algebra? Cool!" She got everyone of them right.) She's less cooperative about writing assignments, but we try to make it cool. I've got her writing some Harry Potter fanfic, and Carl gave her a neat assignment to teach her argument (debate, she already is a master of the other kind) skills. She's to write an article for "Witch Weekly" debunking S.P.E.W. and then she's to write a letter to the editor defending it. (Those of you who are befuddled, these are more Harry Potter references). I think its a neat idea. Oh, and she came up with a cool idea on her own. She wants to write a "school paper" for Hogwarts. She's going to call it the "Hogwarts Express" and it'll have a sports page, horoscopes, "meet the teacher", coupons and advertisements....Koren and I are going to do it with her. I think it'll be great. Who knows, we might even "publish" it on-line!

I have a cold. I hate having a cold.

I've joined "The League of Extraordinary Priestesses" and "Crafts of the Wise" and have even answered the fellytone once or twice this week. I must be getting some better. I'm seriously considering getting my doc to put me on Wellbutrin rather'n Uber-Prozac. (I have no sex drive. I'll say to the doctor, "Doctor, I need a different anti-depressant. This one is depressing my husband.")...
