Kindy-garten

So, Herself started Kindergarten yesterday. They are doing a new "phase-in" thing that's supposed to give the kids time to get used to the whole "going to school" concept. She went in last week for a screening, then for a half day this week, and then next week she starts for real. Meanwhile big sister has been going since the 15th. Rather than help Morgan adjust, this has served to irritate and confuse her. She is so ready to get on with it.

In the meantime, I'm really worried about Rowan. He's mightily cheesed that Morgan is going to school and he isn't. I took him with me yesterday to go pick her up. The theory there was he not only would get a ride with Mommy, but also a chance to see where Morgan's school was, and to feel included. He spent the rest of the day sad and cranky. My poor baby.
