A neat thing....

dirocyn reminded me last night that a year ago his closet was the neatest part of our bedroom. Right now its the messiest. It hasn't changed a bit. How cool is that?
He also reminded me about something we'd done together last December. Julie Morgenstern has a checklist of things that are and aren't working about a given space. As well as "things that drive me crazy" "I can never..." "I hate that...." etc...
Anyway, the point is, he and I went through and filled it in for our Master Bedroom. When he mentioned it, I remembered that I knew exactly where the journal was (clean room!), so I pulled it out. Everything that I hated about my bedroom a year ago has been dealt with.
And (this part is really neat) and, there was a list of things about myself that I really wanted to change. Many, many of the things on that list I've made HUGE strides toward this year.
2003 has rocked.
