The husband and I made our bi-weekly sojourn to the the Wonderful World of Wal last night. You know the kind, where "one stop shopping" ceases to be a convenience, and instead becomes a horrific nightmare. You find yourself chanting, "they'll never let me go home." You aren't sure if the sucking sound you hear is coming from your will, your wallet, or your brain cells. Or perhaps all three.

The fellow was thin, willowy and effeminate. He had clever little earrings and several of those gummy/rubber bracelets that we all wore in the 80s. And here's the kicker: he was wearing a green and silver striped sweater. If you could take the scarves from the movies and make them be sweaters, this would be one.
