kadollanWell, I've seen it twice now and
I absolutely loved it. It was a little slow to wind-up, and it was more an "interpretive dance" of the book than a true rendition, and I DON'T CARE. I absolutely adored it.
Edmund is my sulky-redeemed-hero-boyfriend (sorry, Harry) -- and he entirely made the movie. Well, Ed and Lucy did, but then they were always my favorite anyway, so there you are then.
When Willow *cough* Professor Flitwick *ahem*, I mean Nikabrik persuaded Caspian to summon The White Witch (because THAT would be a good idea) Caspian is all "No, no! That would be terrible!" and she is all "Sexy-sexy!" and he's all "Well, okay, not that terrible..." Peter slams in "I'll save you, Caspian!" and Jadis says, "Peter dear, do be a love and bleed on me, won't you?" and Peter begins to drool, because hey, teenager. But then Edmund. Edmund gets to finally kill her himself, and then he gives Peter this look and says "I know." He immediately goes on to make a reference to an earlier scene in the movie, and he's passing it off as a joke, but Edmund is saying, "I know what it's like when she seduces you." And SWOON.
So. Yes.
Also, where is my Caspian/Peter grudge!fic? I demand it!
