Fannish Kidlings and Workish 'Splosions

kadollanAlright, I confess me that I don't actually have anything of any substance to report.
On the work front, our nearly dead (ghost-town) call center exploded with calls this week. We've finally launched our website, which more-or-less, mostly works. They, in their wisdom, slashed our staffing (even though they knew that we were about to launch) so I've spent the last two days answering customer calls, instead of answering calls from our agents they way I normally do. (When you get put on hold so the agent can consult with a supervisor --- that's me they're talking to.) Anyway, I figure its good for us to get back in the proverbial trenches every now and then, so that we don't lose site of what our agents are dealing with.
Okay, so, lesson learned... can I go back to answering 1300 now?
On the kidling front, my spawn are now out of school for the summer. Rowan, predictably, has gone swimming (some) and played video games (a lot). Morgan, meanwhile has re-watched the entire, extended-edition Lord of the Rings trilogy. This was entirely her idea, mind you. Yup... that's my kid.
Rhiannon has been bonding with her computer, has been to her friends' houses, and has had her friendses over to her house. Girl-child is such a teen-ager, itellyouwhat.
